Initiated by APRIL, the Fire Free Village Program (FFVP) focuses on collaboration with multiple stakeholders to prevent land and forest fires.
The initiative has evolved into the Fire Free Alliance (FFA), a voluntary multi-stakeholder group made up of forestry and agriculture companies, with NGOs and other partners keen to resolve Indonesia’s persistent fires and haze problems arising from land burning.
